Retail
Retailers need one view of stock, price and the customer across a store estate and a storefront that never closes.
The problem
Online and in-store were built at different times by different teams, so inventory disagrees with itself, promotions apply in one channel and not the other, and the customer notices before anyone internal does.
How we would approach it
We would treat the inconsistency as a data model problem before a UI one — one source of truth for stock and price, with each channel reading from it — then rebuild the storefront on top. Multi-location data models, live availability and per-service pricing are the same problems we solved for a booking product across a city.
